Our Arizona Bars
The Hideaway..............
Cave Creek Road, "Somewhere in Cave Creek, AZ".....or check out their site....
We've stopped in here a few times and always enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Everybody's cool.....we recommend sitting in the deck area. Then you can check out all the bikes coming and going. We live a ways from here, in Mesa, so we dont make the trek often, but the ride up is cool too. Check out their site, as Bike Week is about to start here in Phoenix and they have tons of rides going on from here.

Harold's Saloon..............
Right down the road from the Hideaway in Cave Creek
We came upon this place after we left The Hideaway....we we're bar-hopping. Checking out the area. We had heard alot about Cave Creek and that it was very biker friendly.....IT IS! Sonny Barger owns a Harley shop up there. Anyway, we stopped in Harold's
and really liked the atmosphere. They had live music going on and they were telling us that it used to be Dick Van Dyke's favorite watering hole before he stopped drinking. We recommend hanging at the bar, the bartenders are cool!

Billet Bar..............
3752 N. Scottsdale Rd. Scottsdale, AZ
We were asked all the time by the locals if we had been here yet, so we HAD to go and see what all the fuss was about. Don't get us wrong, it was an extremely beuatiful bar....with a lush back area full of huge tropical plants and a couple of pool tables,
I especially was oohh and awwing over the brushed aluminum that cover the entire bar. Not to mention Ford oohing and awwing over all the beautiful bikes parked out front (it's also attached to a bike shop)....it was very cool.....but it wasn't the kind of bar we were hoping to make our hangout. Too rich for our blood.

Robin's Nest..............
Southern Avenue (somewhere between Dobson & Alma School) Mesa , AZ
We were only in this bar once, but that was all we needed. We had an absolute blast in here. The night we went they were hosting an HA fundraising party. Colors of all kinds were partying and enjoying themselves...and no trouble. We stayed til close and spent a good $100 minimum in there. Well worth it!
Strangely enough everytime we go by there is not a soul in the parking lot anymore. Closed? Private? We're not sure. We'll definately return if they ever throw anther party!!!

Jake's O Mine..............
Main St. Apache Junction, AZ
We came across this place when we ran into some riders on a Saturday night "nothing to do" ride. We asked them where all the good biker bars were....not RUB. They said they were on their way to one now, so we followed them. We went to a unique hole in the wall first and had a beer, then took off and landed at Jake's.
We liked it before we even went in.....you could tell that there were some REAL riders here. It was even better when we got inside. The atmosphere was comfortable, even welcoming, kinda felt like we had been here before (nod to Mug's) So we settled in to party and had a blast!!
The Owners are very hands on and make you feel welcome too. Beaver and Margo are bikers from way back themselves....
which gives the bar even more credence as a true biker bar. They made us feel really welcome and before you know were inviting us to join them and about 80 other bikers the next morning for a run. Not a run for a cause or any special purpose, just a bunch of good ol' bikers gettin' together for a ride in the Arizona countryside!! We went and enjoyed the sh** out of ourselves. We
became regulars after that......we had found home! ha ha Unfortunately we have been trying to save our money for the run to Redwood and moving into a house that we haven't been there for awhile. If you stop in let 'em know we sent cha!! Tell Jose (Annette's favorite bartender) We'll be back!!!!

Stay tuned for more....or suggest some, we're always on the hunt..............
